One of many highlights was Rocky Elam, who won the conference championship at 197 pounds after a tiebreaker. All ten Tigers finished on the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With their victory, head coach Brian Smith now has the most league titles in Mizzou Athletics history \u2013 surpassing Norm Stewart. He was also named Big 12 Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 16, the entire team will be back in Tulsa for the NCAA tournament \u2013 the same day <a href=\"https:\/\/mutigers.com\/news\/2023\/3\/12\/mens-basketball-mizzou-heads-west-for-ncaa-tournament.aspx\">Men\u2019s Basketball begins March Madness in Sacramento<\/a>.
