On Tuesday, we proudly launched our annual campuswide campaign to support the Heart of Missouri United Way. Our ambitious goals build on past successes and create new opportunities to advance United Way’s important mission.

The Heart of Missouri United Way invests more than $2 million annually to support the health, education and well-being of every person in Columbia and beyond. Nearly a fourth of all local residents benefit from their work, which unites organizations and resources to create lasting change and build an even stronger community.

During last year’s campaign, Mizzou students, faculty, staff and retirees raised more than $500,000. This year, we’re coming together to once again raise $500,000 and involve at least 1,200 supporters – setting a new record for participation. We’re off to a great start, with more than $3,000 contributed the first day.

The campaign runs until Friday, December 12. Please visit the campaign website to show your support, and thank you for making a difference for our friends and neighbors.
