Dear Mizzou community,
I’m pleased to welcome back all students, faculty and staff to the University of Missouri! I hope you had a restful break and are ready to achieve excellence together in the new year.
As we begin 2024, there’s plenty for our community to celebrate.
- Coach Drinkwitz and Mizzou Football earned a historic win at the 2023 Cotton Bowl.
- MU was included among Time Magazine’s Best Colleges for Future Leaders – recognizing the career-readiness of our students and the accomplishments of our alumni.
- The University of Missouri Research Reactor is helping MU Health Care pilot innovative cancer treatments and delivering critical radioisotopes to more than a million patients in Missouri and around the world.
- Our dedication to student success is resulting in an all-time high graduation rate (76%) and retention rate (91.3%).
In the weeks ahead, we will continue to build on our incredible momentum while preparing a new generation to lead our state and world. Thanks to our proven value and impact, more students than ever are ready to become Tigers. We’re already on-track to receive a record number of applications for the fall.
