Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to remind everyone that I am soliciting nominations for the position of Interim Provost. The person in this position will play a critical role on campus over the next several months, and I want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to nominate a qualified individual. Nominations, including a rationale for the nominee, can be made at the following website: Interim Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost Nomination. Nominations will be accepted through Noon this Thursday, November 30.

I am in the process determining the makeup of the Provost Search Committee. Although I have not finalized names of committee members, I wanted to share the general composition of the Committee with the community. The committee will include the following:

9 Faculty Members (Tenure Track, Non-Tenure Track, and Chairs)
1 Undergraduate Student
1 Graduate Student
1 Staff Member
2 Deans
4 Academic Support Leaders (VCs, etc.)
