April 15, 2021: Upcoming Columbia-Area COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

Dear colleagues,

Since all Missouri adults and University of Missouri students are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, we wanted to share upcoming opportunities to get vaccinated before the semester ends.

MU Health Care has available appointments at their upcoming clinics, April 15-17, for those interested in receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. When you schedule a first dose, your second dose will automatically be scheduled for the same time 21 days later (May 6-8). Please be sure you can make both appointments before scheduling. The vaccine is most effective after two doses.

Schedule Now

If you need help scheduling your vaccination appointment at MU Health Care, please call (573) 771-CARE (2273). The call center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

In partnership with the Missouri National Guard and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will be holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, at the Columbia Mall, 2300 Bernadette Dr. Appointments are encouraged. Scheduling an appointment requires preregistration through the state’s Vaccine Navigator. Visit covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator or call (877) 435-8411 to set up a profile and complete registration. Please arrive at the time of the scheduled appointment and note that there is a 15-minute observation period after the vaccine is administered.

MU Health Care, Boone Health, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services and local pharmacies will continue to work together to vaccinate our community based on guidance from county, state and federal health officials. You can find additional opportunities for local vaccination clinics at Boone Health and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services websites. You can also access additional educational information about vaccination and vaccination opportunities on our Show Me Renewal Vaccination webpage.
